Mulberry leaves are a botanical very thin and delicate material, often compared to a texture of light leaf / “dried seaweed” once dry. They are perfect for both bioactive terrariums and aquariums, especially when you want a natural addition that integrates quickly.
In terrariums, they can be used as a fine litter and decompose faster than thicker leaves, which can help feed the microfauna (isopods/springtails). In aquariums, they are very popular as botanical leaves: they promote the formation of biofilm and become an excellent grazing area for shrimp.
