Usage (terrarium)
Rinse with clear water before use. Place directly in the terrarium as a decorative element, hiding spot, or molting support. Especially appreciated by geckos, skinks, snakes, scorpions, tarantulas, and small to medium-sized invertebrates. Compatible with arid, temperate, and tropical setups.
Usage (aquarium)
Soak in water for 24 to 48 hours before introduction to saturate the fibers and stabilize the piece at the bottom. Cholla wood releases tannins that slightly soften the water and create a natural environment appreciated by shrimp, bottom-dwelling fish, and other inhabitants of slightly tannin-rich waters. Excellent shelter for shrimp and small fish.
